Thursday, December 10, 8 PM (Italy time) - Discover a new way to network and connect using the platform Sidebar. Do you wish to recreate the spontaneous mixing and mingling of in-person network events? Ryan MacCarrigan '08CC, the president of Columbia Venture Community, will give us an introduction to the Sidebar networking platform, which allows for more natural and dynamic conversations than other platforms. We will divide you up into rooms initially, but then you will be free to join other rooms and meet and talk to other participants. Also, you can create your own rooms as in the YouTube video.

A few important technical aspects about the event:

• You must use your computer. Sidebar does not work with phones.
• Chrome and Firefox are the recommended browsers.
• You do not need to create an account with Sidebar, nor do you need to create a password to use the service. Columbia will create the link to access the service. When you click on a link to enter a room, we do kindly ask you to provide your name, school, and graduation year.
