Raise your glass as we toast the end of this year and welcome the new year. Please join us for a festive holiday aperitivo with Columbia Alumna Beth Moreno '89 SDOS (CDM). Beth will tell us about the history of sparkling wine in the Veneto region and explain to us the differences between the varieties. During the event, please enjoy your favorite sparkling wine from any region (or country) with some soft cheese and bread. We will have time afterwards for some light networking. Beth Moreno '89 SDOS (CDM), after graduating Columbia and enjoying a successful career in NYC, Beth moved to Italy and embarked on an ad venturous second career in viticulture by managing the family winery in the hills above Venice, Italy. 

The Venetian Hills winery is located in the province of Treviso around Asolo and specializes in producing Asolo Prosecco Superiore DOCG and Rosé Curvée Prestige.  It is a family vineyard that focuses on sustainability practices and it is the recipient of several awards for its wine. For ordering wine from Venetian Hills, the vineyard owned by Beth and her husband's family, please contact Beth.  Further information can also be found on the Columbia Alumni Wine Industry Network
